- Benefits of Using a Loft Down Alternative Comforter
- Taking care of your bathsheets is essential to ensure their longevity and performance. Be sure to follow the care instructions provided by the manufacturer, which usually include washing in warm water, using a gentle detergent, and avoiding fabric softeners. It is also recommended to tumble dry on low heat or air dry to preserve the softness and absorbency of the bathsheet.
- The Ubiquitous 150cm Wide Fabric A Canvas for Creativity
- Another important consideration when choosing a bathsheet is the size. Bathsheets are larger than regular towels, usually measuring around 35x60 inches. This extra size provides more coverage and makes them perfect for wrapping up in after a shower or bath. If you prefer a smaller bathsheet, you can opt for a bath towel, which is slightly smaller but still provides ample coverage.
Dobby weaves are produced on a dobby loom and contain small geometric or stripe patterns throughout. This weave creates more texture than others, as the shapes (be it squares, diamonds, dots, or the like), have a slightly raised feel. The most common design for bed sheets is thick stripes.

Linen GSM - Linen is measured in GSM (grams per meter) and typically ranges from 100gsm to 200gsm. We use 150 GSM for our linen bedding range. We found lower GSM too thin and higher GSM too heavy and rough to the touch.
Percale is the style or design of weaving that makes the material strong, whereas cotton is the material itself.

Luxury throw blankets are small decorative blankets, often with trim or fringe, that are used for extra warmth, decoration, or as a covering when lounging on top of the bed. It is normally folded at the foot of the bed, on top of any other bedding.
Sateen Sheets
Materials for Bed Sheets: Commonly, bed sheets are crafted from materials like cotton, linen, silk, or synthetic fibers. Cotton is renowned for its breathability and moisture management, ideal for a variety of climates. Linen sheets, derived from flax fibers, offer durability and a unique textured appearance. Silk sheets, though a luxurious option, are excellent for hypoallergenic needs and temperature regulation. Synthetic fibers, such as polyester, provide affordability and resilience but may lack the natural comfort of their counterparts.
